Lockdown with Chloe

24 Apr 2020

Hi Everyone... I hope you are all safe and well and finding calm amongst the chaos. I’ve put together a little insight into my life in lockdown, as well as my top tips for staying positive and productive during this time.

Soothing The Mind, Body & Soul

Yoga and running are like therapy for me. I love nothing more than getting up nice and early and going for a run down by the river or through the forest, connecting me to nature.

I’ve loved being able to do yoga and pilates in the garden too with all this gorgeous sunshine! I have put together some snaps of my practice outside, which I will share with you all soon, so stay tuned!

Below are some photos of my favourite places to run nearby...

Detox & Cleansing

I’m using this time off as a huge detox and cleanse. I stopped drinking 10 weeks ago and gave up sugar 2 weeks ago! It’s been testing at times but I am now feeling great and so full of energy. I’ve have also been making super healthy juices using celery, spinach and lemons. I also do a lot of meditation, which I love, as well as getting early nights and I’ve never felt so healthy and happy!

Before I gave up sugar I got on the banana bread band wagon and baked my first one… it was totally yummy if I say so myself! Who else has made one?

I have loved spending time in the kitchen and experimenting with different healthy meals, here are some photos of my favourites...

Blossoming Love

Planting pots is my new found love. I’ve gone plant crazy! Before lockdown my dad and I brought some beautiful plants and flowers and I have some gorgeous pots, so I have been busy planting them, which is so therapeutic! I’m absolutely loving being outside in the sunshine planting them all up.

Soaking Up The Sun

There is no better way to relax than soaking up the beautiful sunshine. We have been so lucky that although we have all been in isolation, we have had such lovely weather to enjoy. I’m so grateful for this and enjoy every minute, including the sunsets!

Wednesday the 22nd April was Earth Day, which I celebrated by watching the most beautiful sunset over the River Dee, in my hometown Chester.

I hope you enjoyed this read and are all staying safe, happy and healthy. Love Chloe x
